We are searching for candidates with a minimum of 3 years of sales experience, preferably in the Land Survey, Construction or Heavy Equipment industry. The position requires a working knowledge of the local construction market with a proven track record demonstrating the ability to develop relationships with customers and promote sales, rentals, and service. In this position, you will be responsible for prospecting and identifying opportunities and closing deals with small, medium and large-sized contractors.
The chosen candidate will have an opportunity to work for the #1 Topcon distributor in the U.S. selling the latest hardware and software solutions to contractors from Topcon, FARO Technologies, Hewlett Packard - HP SitePrint, Autodesk and more.
The primary role of the Jobsite Technology Sales Specialist is to market an integrated solutions of hardware and software to potential AEC and MEP customers. In this key sales role, the successful candidate will be highly motivated, responsible for managing the complete sales cycle, including prospecting, proposals, demonstrations, quotations and closing the sale.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for effective prospecting / identifying potential opportunities and closing high value deals.
- Build long term relationships within a territory to maximize customer and company profitability.
- Coordinate and/or conduct field demonstrations.
- Be customer oriented; have a knowledge and understanding of the business and culture of the customers.
- Sell equipment, accessories, rentals, and service as a total customer solution.
- Build long-term relationships within a territory to maximize customer and company profitability.
- Coordinate and/or conduct field demonstrations.
- Provide timely follow-up on each sale to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service.
Qualifications:
- A strong knowledge of selling technology solutions in the vertical construction industry.
- Experience selling hardware such as GPS, Robotic Total Stations and scanners, is a plus.
- Demonstrated success in new account creation and maintaining accounts.
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in a Construction related discipline such as Civil Engineering, Construction Management or similar, is a plus
- A valid driver license and insurable driving record will be required.
- 1-3 years sales experience, preferably in a related industry
- Demonstrated success in new account creation & sales.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
- Strong work ethic and desire to succeed.
- Willingness to learn about the products we sell.
- Positive, sales-oriented personality.
- Business-like, professional appearance.
- Bi-Lingual (English & Spanish) is a plus.
