Vibra-Tech Engineers, Inc., a nationally recognized seismic consulting company is seeking a full-time Field Technician to join our team at our Davie, Florida location.
As a Field Technician with Vibra-Tech Engineers, Inc. you will mainly travel to mining operations to monitor blasting activities as well as travel to other various worksites, such as homes, construction locations and other structures to conduct pre/post blast inspections, perform on-site vibration monitoring, manage installation, test, repair and maintenance of service equipment while preparing reports and data analysis.
Our ideal candidate possesses strong communication skills, the ability to follow instructions and work independently. Has experience using video and digital cameras. and is proficient in computer and technical skills. Experience or degree in Geology, Engineering. Construction or related field, preferred but not required. Driver’s license and a reliable mode of transportation is required as you will travel in your personal vehicle to job sites.

- Perform on-site and remote seismograph vibration monitoring at mining and construction operations
- Conduct detailed pre and post-blast inspections of homes, commercial buildings/other structures
- Manage on-site installation, repair, maintenance and testing
- Troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment
- Detailed report preparation and data analysis
- Provide service and customer support during field visits
- Build positive relationships with current and potential customers
