SMT OPERATORS - Immediate Openings
Can you safely and efficiently operate selective solder equipment? This position will be part of a team producing printed circuit boards, striving for the highest yields possible through:
Responsible for the assembly of printed circuit boards in the SMT area. This role consists of loading and unloading feeders, component recognition, first article verification, ability to hand place small surface mount devices, follow and interpret work instructions. This position will also be responsible for the operation of screen printing, solder paste inspection, and operating the automatic optical inspection machine. The goal for this position is to provide our customers with best-in-class quality and reliability for workmanship, while assembling to our industry certifications.
- Follow work instructions and assemble products to supplied documentation.
- Properly scan in and out of jobs per provided work order and routing step.
- Verify accuracy and count of PCBA’s in and out of the work area.
- Working with process technicians and other assembly technicians to reduce potential quality escapes.
- Keep a clean and organized workspace with daily maintenance in mind.
- Communicate issues as they arise with SMT Supervisor/Manager
- Assist with other key areas of SMT manufacturing as required.
- React positively to change and perform duties as assigned.

- Able to work hours of (2:00PM – 10:30PM) Monday - Friday
- Additional overtime hours, and weekends as needed.
Requirements
- 2 years working in a full-scale production environment.
- Ability to operate different types of equipment from screen printing, pick n place, reflow, and AOI.
- Working with solder paste types of RMA, Water Soluble and No Clean
- Ability to recognize in line process defects.
- Experience with “Universal Advantis or Genesis” machinery is a huge advantage.
- Computer literate.
- IPC-A-610 Standard knowledge.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Working Conditions
Fast paced manufacturing environment. Moderate physical activity is required, especially long periods of standing. Will involve some lifting and moving, up to 15 pounds daily.
