Responsibilities:
- Work with ISB staff to publish data in ArcGIS Enterprise.
- Troubleshoot ArcGIS Enterprise errors and exceptions.
- Coordinate issue resolution with IT and other data personnel.
- Automate using Python and Arcade.
- Manage users and groups in the Portal environment.
- Obtain and maintain CompTIA Security .

The following are requirements of the GIS Analyst:
- US Citizen with ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Geography/GIS, computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- At least 2 years’ experience with ArcGIS Desktop and/or ArcGIS Pro for managing geospatial data, publishing services, generating cartographic products, and performing spatial analysis.
- Experience working with a team of GIS Analysts, Coordinators, and Developers to respond to stakeholder and customer requirements.
- Familiarity with ArcGIS Online or Portal for ArcGIS including web maps, apps, dashboard, surveys, and story maps.
- Understanding of enterprise GIS system concepts and technology.
- Desire to take initiative and proactively solve complex problems.
The following are desired capabilities and experience of the GIS Analyst
- Experience providing administration for ArcGIS Online or Portal for ArcGIS including users, groups, content, and apps.
- Experience publishing and managing feature and map services in an enterprise environment.
- Understanding of ArcGIS Enterprise installation, configuration, and back end administration.
- Experience with SDSFIE and DoD IGI&S programs.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python or SQL.
- CompTIA Security Certification.
