We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Manager to join our team. The Construction Manager will oversee and manage the construction and installation of sports surfacing projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Manager to join our team. The Construction Manager will oversee and manage the construction and installation of sports surfacing projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Ensure that all resources of the company are managed and coordinated in an efficient and professional manner on all projects
- Hire, train, troubleshoot, problem resolution, and supervise all personnel
- Act as a liaison between design team / owners and Executive Team
- Evaluate performance and motivate employees to achieve peak productivity and performance
- Implement short- and long-term organizational goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures
- Ensure all safety regulations are followed
- Schedule inspections with the local jurisdiction and maintain a set of plans for the inspector to sign off on
- Communicate job needs with the Project Manager and Director of Construction
- Manage and schedule subcontractors assigned to the project
- Perform quality control observations
- Project manpower requirements
- Enter daily logs for the project as needed
- Take and upload photographs into Procore for the project team’s review
- Ensure the plans and specifications are followed on a project
- Report on job-site delays/issues with the Project Manager
- Assist with equipment needs
- Leadership skills along with an open and willing attitude and eagerness to learn
- Motivate, direct, and address conflict with a team
- Strong communication skills verbal and written and ability to multitask and analyze data
- Strong work ethic, organizational skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Highly motivated and passionate about construction
- Act in a manner of integrity that shows support for the company, its values, and employees
- Able to operate a computer / iPad (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, Procore)
- Possess and maintain a current valid driver’s license
- Ability to read / follow plans and specifications
- Travel as needed, home on weekends
- Able to work long periods including evenings and weekends when necessary
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time
- Ability to operate jobsite equipment as needed
