Hours are 8:30 am - 5:00 pm.
Experience:
Mechanical aptitude
Ability to work on multiple work orders and different parts in one day, requires flexibility and knowledge of E/M
Assembly of a variety of products, and willingness to learn E/M assembly of various products.
Requires highly repetitive, electronic and/or mechanical assembly tasks.
Able to read and understand electrical wiring diagrams and drawings
Able to read and understand mechanical blue prints
Expectations:
Reads work orders, follows production drawings and sample assemblies, or receives verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed.
May be required to operate production and computer equipment and input a limited amount of data entry.
Positions and aligns parts in specified relationship to each other. Crimps, screws, solders, press fits, or perform similar operations to join or secure the parts in place.
Connects component lead wires between individual components, connectors, terminals and other contact points.
Assembles finished assemblies, subassemblies into housings or cases.
Assembles and attaches hardware, such as caps, cables, clamps, switches to the proper assemblies.
Performs intermediate assembly tasks such as cleaning, bonding, and color coding parts and assemblies.
Performs testing and inspection to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and standards.
