Location: Las Vegas
Summary: The role of the Accounting Assistant is to Perform in-house bookkeeping and accounting duties related to accounts payables and receivables, project set-up and inventory tracking, and client invoicing using bookkeeping and spreadsheet software on computer.
Essential Job Functions:
- Process Purchase Orders
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
- Collections
- Sales Tax
- Lab Billing
- Client Deposit
Desired Outcomes or Results:
Performs accounting functions in accordance with company SOP’s and other procedures and represents accounting in a professional manner. Organizes work and uses time effectively and communicates well with clients and other staff. Takes ownership of actions and demonstrates willingness to help others and is a good team player.
Education, Knowledge, and Skills Required or Desirables:
- High school diploma
- Minimum 2 years of accounting experience
- Familiarity with A/P, A/R, journal entries, general ledger, and financial statements
- Proficient spreadsheet and word-processing skills
- Experience with accounting software and data entry, preferably with Axium Ajera software
- Experience with Microsoft Outlook applications
- Professional attitude, telephone etiquette, and appearance
- There is not a requirement or expectation that this position will need to drive GES owned vehicles.
