What are the responsibilities and job description for the Northern Nevada Builder – Reno position at Geotechnical & Environmental Services, Inc?
Location: Reno
Summary: The proper candidate will help build GES market share and provide leadership, supervision, and oversight of all aspects of work performed in Northern Nevada. The Northern Nevada Builder must be proactive about developing systems and methods of sharing personnel and resources within the company primarily by coordinating the efforts of engineers, geologists, inspectors, testers, and managers. This includes assuring that all work conforms to our quality standards, work is completed on schedule, results are communicated on time, and that equipment is properly maintained and supplied.
Desired Outcomes or Results: The Northern Nevada Builder will continue to secure and grow GES’ market share in the Northern Nevada region while aligning the goals of the company through general active oversight of personnel, client, and deliverables. There will be growth and a healthy work environment within the Northern Nevada region when the vital role of the Northern Nevada Builder is successfully carried out.
Education, Knowledge, and Skills Required or Desirables:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Geotechnical Engineering, Construction Material Testing, and/or Environmental Consulting
- PE, CEM, and/or Special Inspector Certifications required.
- Thorough knowledge of business & staff development
- Proficient computer skills
- Leadership skills
