Full Time Dishwasher

Pay Rate : $14.70

Position Description

The Dishwasher may perform a variety of services to customers in a motel restaurant. Primary responsibilities include bussing, washing dishes and other related duties as requested. The program is currently estimated at 25 hours per week.

Essential Job Functions may include the following or other duties as assigned :

Operate industrial dishwasher.
Wash glassware and other implements by hand when necessary.
Empty and clean all trash receptacles.
Clean iced tea, coffee and milkshake machines daily.
Rotate dishes to reduce wear and tear on resources.
Clean dish storage.
Follow sanitation polices at all times.
Perform closing, opening, and side work.
Clean up spills or broken glassware immediately.
Report any sanitation or janitorial issues to appropriate party.
Do additional work if necessary.
Unloading and storing deliveries.

Requirements / Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and / or ability required. Must be a minimum of 16 years old.

Must either be enrolled in high school OR under 18 years old.

Food Handler's Card preferred but not required.

Must have experience or knowledge in specified programs.

Must be able to operate industrial machinery and carry loads up to 20lbs.

Must have the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

Must possess and display strong leadership and organizational skills.

Must be able to work with minimal supervision and practice independent judgment.

Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.

Must be able to work in hot, humid environment.

Must be able to be standing on your feet your 4-8 hours.

Must be able to interact successfully with all levels of staff, clients and vendors.

Must be able to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.

Must be able to pass Reference Check, Background Check and Drug Screen.

Must have strong problem solving and communication skills.
