Data Scientist - Senior

GeoYeti focuses on advanced analytics, data science, and the development of applications that support such work. We seek a senior-level DATA SCIENTIST to support a client in Reston, VA . We support a broad range of IC and DoD clients, and our team members, regardless of their role, interact with end users around the globe.

Responsibilities

This work requires data science support to an extract, transform, load (ETL) pipeline. This includes reviewing and spot checking data, analyzing statistics and summarizing inbound data, and creating and explaining dashboards and summary reports to teammates and customers. This job requires the applicant to be successful working individually and with a small group.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications :

• Active TS / SCI clearance with CI poly required to start.
• Python (5 years) with proven experience in report and dashboard generation, manipulating data larger than memory.
• SQL and relational databases (3 years).
• Experience manipulating and managing spatial data in a database (3 years).
• Experience reviewing data in a GUI GIS tool such as ArcGIS, ArcGIS Pro, QGIS, etc.
• Experience summarizing data in dashboard tools such as Tableau, Grafana, or custom-built applications.
