Responsibilities
The Team member will provide geodetic/geodesy support.
- Use geospatial predictive analytic techniques to gather, create, analyze, and manipulate new geospatial data using the appropriate tools/software.
- Apply knowledge of geographic information science and technology, statistics, spatial thinking, remote sensing, intelligence issues, and the social and physical sciences to characterize events, discover relationships and trends, and produce geospatial intelligence.
- Conduct multi-INT research, conduct descriptive and predictive analyses, populate and exploit intelligence databases, and produce and disseminate intelligence products.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI clearance required to start. Must be willing to sit for a CI poly.
3-6 years of demonstrated experience in the application of quantitative data analysis and interpretation
1-3 years of demonstrated experience in the knowledge of scientific analysis, statistical analysis, or data analytics
1-3 demonstrated years' experience in the knowledge and application of geology and geophysics concepts
Demonstrate knowledge of scientific systems (Physics, Geophysics, Geology, Geosciences)
Basic understanding of the gravitational influence on navigation and guidance systems, trajectory modeling, and Circular Error Product (CEP)
Desired Qualifications:
Demonstrated knowledge of Mathematical, Statistical, or Scientific Software: MATLAB, Mathematica, Surfer, Fledermaus, STK, ENVI, etc.
Demonstrated experience working in multidisciplinary teams to develop solutions to problems and deliver those solutions.
Advanced coursework in geomatic/geodesy topics.
Basic proficiency in Fortran and/or Matlab programming language
Basic proficiency with scripting languages such as Python and C
