What You Will Do
As a Finance Manager - Supply Chain operations, oversee financial operations, including pricing, inventory valuation, accounts payable/receivable, tax compliance, audits, and financial reporting. This role involves leading a team in executing these activities, driving best practices, and engaging with clients and stakeholders on financial matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Management – Generate and analyze financial data, assess inventory trends, and evaluate the financial health of distribution centers.
- Operations Oversight – Develop and review financial policies, oversee budgeting, and ensure compliance with inventory valuation methodologies (FIFO & LIFO).
- Audit & Compliance – Support internal and external audits, manage regulatory and tax compliance requirements, and oversee quarterly and annual account reconciliations.
- Inventory & Costing – Monitor stock audits, ensure accurate inventory cost layering, and implement best practices for inventory valuation.
- Stakeholder Communication – Mediate financial issues between the organization, investors, and client stakeholders to drive resolutions.
- Strategic Planning – Advise leadership on financial decisions, create inventory valuation reports, and develop business plans based on financial forecasts.
What you should bring
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master’s/MBA preferred); Diploma in Supply Chain Finance is a plus.
- Experience: 10-15 years in supply chain finance (7-10 years in inventory management preferred).
- Proficiency: Advanced skills in MS Excel, Word, Pricing Management Tools, Inventory Layering.
- Communication: Strong proficiency in English with excellent stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Leadership & Team Management – Ability to lead, mentor, and manage teams effectively.
- Financial Modeling & Statistical Analysis – Expertise in evaluating financial trends and forecasting.
- Problem-Solving – Ability to analyze complex financial issues and develop actionable solutions.
- Pricing Management – Ensure cost optimization and competitive pricing strategies.
- Inventory Valuations & Layering – Implement accurate valuation and reconciliation methods. Optimize stock levels and ensure cost-effective inventory practices.
