What You Will Do
As a Manager in Private Equity Performance Improvement, you will play a critical role in delivering high-impact cost optimization, procurement, and operational efficiency projects across private equity portfolio companies. You will collaborate with private equity firms and senior executives to identify opportunities for value creation, develop strategic recommendations, and drive measurable improvements in procurement, supply chain, and operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage time-sensitive efficiency improvement projects from inception to completion.
- Analyze data, facts, and client discussions to extract meaningful insights.
- Develop actionable findings and strategic recommendations to enhance operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate directly with PE clients to implement operational and strategic improvements.
- Work across multiple industries to identify best practices and drive tailored solutions.
- Manage and mentor project teams to ensure successful execution and client satisfaction.
What you should bring
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent preferred.
- 6 years of consulting or mix of consulting & industry experience in procurement, supply chain, or operational efficiency, preferably with private equity or portfolio companies.
- Proven experience in implementing operating and cost improvement programs.
- Strong background in operations consulting, with a preference for those with experience in performance improvement initiatives.
- Hands-on expertise across multiple industries, demonstrating adaptability and problem-solving skills.
- Extensive experience working with Private Equity clients or managing PE relationships.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
