The Business Development Associate supports Big Box customer accounts by collaborating with internal and international teams to manage daily operations, forecasting, reporting, and supply chain initiatives. Key responsibilities include generating and analyzing sales reports, supporting category management processes, coordinating product launches, and maintaining customer databases. The position also involves liaising with external and internal stakeholders, providing logistical assistance, managing projects, and preparing comprehensive presentations for customer product line reviews. Position Summary

Responsibilities
- Support Account Manager(s) and international teams with daily operations for Big Box customers.
- Liaise with customer assistants, replenishment teams, and external/internal analysts.
- Conduct regular communication and after-hours calls with domestic and international support teams.
- Follow up on pending issues from weekly support team calls.
- Prepare reports, including:
- Monthly forecasting for SKUs, promotions, and new product launches.
- Sales budget versus actual performance for internal reporting.
- Weekly point-of-sale reports with SKU performance analysis.
- Annual internal sales budget support.
- Monthly order replenishment and management reports.
- Perform category management analysis for quarterly business reviews to recommend product mix improvements.
- Assist with direct import logistics, including orders, forecasting, and PO/PI status tracking.
- Oversee new product execution internally and externally until store placement.
- Coordinate product assets for customer database placement.
- Generate weekly reports and agendas for conference calls.
- Monitor and report competitor updates on in-store and online pricing and products.
- Manage product onboarding and maintain customer database integrity, including photos, descriptions, dimensions, pricing, and marketing attributes.
- Support customer product line reviews with presentations, analysis, and sample preparation.
- Communicate with third-party vendors to manage store displays and parts.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a closely related field strongly preferred
- Experience with customer product line review, preferred but not required
- Minimum of 2 years relevant experience
- Proficiency is MS Office suite, with advanced Excel skills
- Experience and proficiency in Home Depot and Lowes systems is a plus (IDM, FlexPLM, etc.)
- Previous big box vendor experience strongly preferred
- Detail-oriented; Key to success in this role is precision, follow up and consistency
- A highly motivated approach combined with exceptional problem-solving capabilities, alongside a deep passion for analyzing large datasets and creating visualizations.
- Proficient in collaborating within a team environment while also demonstrating the capability to manage time and projects autonomously.

Salary : $65,000 - $75,000
