Role Overview

A Day in the Life

As a CNC Precision Machining Lead, you will be at the heart of our production team, orchestrating the setup and operation of our CNC machines with a focus on quality and efficiency. Your role ensures that our operations run smoothly, meeting the high standards that our customers demand.

Core Responsibilities

• CNC Mastery: Lead the setup and tuning of CNC machines, especially Okuma vertical and horizontal centers.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct meticulous first-article inspections with precision instruments to uphold stringent quality standards.
• Troubleshooting Expertise: Lead swift diagnosis and resolution of machine concerns to minimize downtime.
• Documentation and Improvement: Keep impeccable records of setups and improvements for process enhancements.
• Collaborative Leadership: Partner with machinists and production teams to ensure timely completion of projects.

What You Bring

• Educational Foundation: High school diploma or equivalent; added advantage if trained in CNC machining.
• Proven Experience: At least 2 years in CNC set-ups, favoring those acquainted with Okuma machinery.
• Technical Prowess: Command over G-code and M-code, alongside adept use of measurement tools.
• Interpersonal Skills: Detail-driven with a knack for troubleshooting and teamwork.
• Physical Requirements: Capable of lifting around 50 lbs. and thriving in a dynamic environment.

Compensation Package
