Position Overview
Responsible for performing maintenance, installation, repair and troubleshooting work involving batch plant equipment and facilities. Ideal candidate will have industrial plant maintenance experience, hydrolic / pneumatic experience, welding, basic troubleshooting of equipment.
Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)
- Communicates with Maintenance Manager on issues affecting equipment maintenance, personnel, and safety
- Maintains and reports to Maintenance Manager with weekly project list
- Participate in a preventative maintenance program to service plant equipment and facilities
- Receives written work orders or verbal instructions from supervisor
- Maintains project schedules and coordinates own daily workload.
- Works with Plant Managers to establish timing of scheduled production plant maintenance according to factors such as production schedules, personnel for assistance, and availability of parts and equipment required for the repair
- Assists with scale calibrations at ready mix production plants.
- Other duties assigned.
Education/Experience
- Associate's degree in electrical/mechanical technology, Maintenance/Project Management, or equivalent of two years related experience.
- Must be able to attain Crane Operator, Boom Lift, Scissor Lift, Loader, and Forklift Certifications.
- Must have experience with various types of welding processes.
- Experience in troubleshooting hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Class A or B CDL preferred. Will required to obtain a Class A within one year of hire date, will help with training
