Ice Cream Workshop Instructor

Commitment: April 12 - August 31, 2025
Hours Per Week: 7-14 hours (see schedule below)

April - May (7-10.5 hours per week):

• Sundays: 2:30 PM - 4:30 PM
• Saturdays: 2:30 PM - 4:30 PM
• One Saturday per month: 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM
• Prep & Cleanup: 1-hour setup & cleanup before/after workshops

June - August (10.5-14 hours per week):

• Sundays: 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM & 2:30 PM - 4:30 PM
• Saturdays: 2:30 PM - 4:30 PM
• One Saturday per month: 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM
• Prep & Cleanup: 1-hour setup & cleanup before/after workshops

Two Vegan Ice Cream Workshops Per Month

• Hosted on select Saturdays or Sundays, 2:30 PM - 4:30 PM

We are looking for a fun, engaging, and organized Ice Cream Making Instructor to teach our hands-on ice cream-making workshops!

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and set up for workshops (gather ingredients, set up equipment).
- Teach interactive 2-hour ice cream-making classes.
- Answer participant questions and create a fun learning environment.
- Clean up after workshops and maintain a sanitized space.
- Pick up materials from our store and ice cream shop.
- Assist with social media content (photos/videos).

Requirements:

- Teaching, culinary, or customer service experience preferred.
- Friendly and outgoing personality.
- Ability to lift 10-15 lbs and transport materials.
- Reliable transportation.
- Comfortable engaging with children and adults.

Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: $18.52 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 7 – 15 per week

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• Evening shift
• Every weekend
• Weekends only
