We are looking to hire an experienced and passionate HR Director to help support the continuous growth of our organization. This individual will be responsible for setting the HR strategy while overseeing programs, and processes that support business and leading the HR Department. The HR Director will focus on talent, employee engagement, benefits, wellness programs, employee relations, performance management, compensation, and continuous improvement. This person is an essential member of the leadership team and will play a critical role in supporting the business with meeting strategic and financial objectives while building an efficient, engaged, and inclusive workforce.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Human Resource function and oversee the day-to-day operations of the HR department. Provide leadership and training to highest level of performance and productivity while emphasizing the importance of collaboration, accountability and transparency within the HR department.
- Ensure that all HR processes are compliant with employment laws and regulations
- Oversee workforce planning by creating and implementing HR policies to support the organizations strategy by providing analysis and guidance needed to facilitate business planning.
- Manage employee relations and minimize risk to the organization by actively responding to and addressing employee concerns. Conduct thorough investigations and determine appropriate recourse which could be disciplinary action or termination.
- Oversee the compensation and benefit strategies to attract, retain, reward and recognize employees.
- Bachelor's Degree required with a focus in Human Resources or Business Administration
- Master's Degree preferred
- 10 years of Human Resource experience
- 5 years of leadership experience
- Extensive knowledge of HR best practices, employment legislation and regulations
- Experience building and leading teams and implementing HR strategies, including the design, development, implementation of HR programs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, problem-solving and decision-making skills, and the ability to handle sensitive situations / documentation.
