Sales Appointment Coordinators are part of Business Development Center.
These individuals are enthusiastic, self-motivated, team players who are dedicated to enhancing the guest experience online, and through a variety of other forms of communication. Agents maintain all online inquiries, follow up with customer sale requests, search for potential sales opportunities, manage missed and unsold opportunities and schedule sales appointments according to individual and team goals.
BDC – Business Development Center
The role of the Business Development Center is to shape customer requests or questions into business for the dealership by scheduling appointments for sales representatives. It also maintains the expectations set by our Company Handbook for the customer experience. Agents are often the first point of contact for shoppers and are crucially significant as the customer enters the “Who should I buy from?” phase of their journey.

Sales Appointment Coordinator Duties:
- Agents are responsible for the management of online customer requests, customer responses, chats, and tasks found in their planner each day.
- Agents are required to create engagement, maintain communication with customers until the appointment is set (following up with them if they do not show).
- Agents must make verified phone calls, send text messages and emails.
- Agents are required to ensure they respond according to manufacturer expectations regarding response time, and actual responses.
- Agents should strive to collaborate with their Sales Team and Sales Managers.
- Agents should strive to make over 100 outbound communications per day via Call, Text, and Email.
- Agents should work side-by-side with their Team Lead/GM to ensure they know promotions, process changes, best practices, etc.
