1. Job Purpose / Objective :
This position is responsible for operating sound system and audio cues for live stage productions by operating computer playback systems that provide music for the show, and mastery of the audio cues which are used to enhance the various acts performed during the evening. The incumbent also ensures microphones used by the entertainers are in good working order and all audio equipment are tested and 100% functional before each performance.
2. Essential Job Functions :
Incumbent may perform any or all of the following :
- At the beginning of the shift :
Turn on Audio System and running test programs to ensure all systems are functional and ready for performance
Cue laptops to begin show music at conclusion of preshow
Equipment maintenance and system tests as necessary
