Job Title : Retail Banking Intern
As a Retail Banking Intern , you will be working in our [branch location] partnering with a leader and mentor on a strategic project where you perform research to uncover solutions and present recommendations to the leadership team. In addition to the strategic project, you will also gain a deeper understanding of day to day functions of retail banking and critical bank operations.
What You'll Do :
Day in the Life - As part of the retail team, you will be digging into a project that impacts retail banking. Over the summer, you will follow an experience and development plan to guide your progress and learn how your field of study can be applied in a real world scenario. You will interact with both internal and external customers, gather data, compile and share reports, build relationships, participate in community events and brainstorm with your team to determine how to complete the project. Your program capstone includes a formal presentation to share information about your project and provide a recommendation for the best next steps for carrying the project forward.
What it Takes - This internship is for an undergraduate student in pursuit of a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Communication, Finance, Marketing, Management or related majors from an accredited college / university with a minimum GPA of 2.8 (cumulative). To thrive in this role you must have outstanding work ethic, project and time management skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail and ability to work well individually and in teams. Being highly motivated, resourceful and results-driven will help you to complete the necessary milestones of the project. You must also have the ability to ask questions, as well as provide and receive feedback. Access to reliable transportation for various training and networking events is required.
