The Psychiatric Assistant will work on-site and remotley in a primary care clinic, as part of a consultation effort with Germane & Wise Mental Health Systems Consulting, LLC. The applicant will interview patients to obtain complete psychiatric histories, facilitate communication between members of the medical and mental health team, and be active in the community support networks. The applicant will conduct regular follow up with patients, track their goals and treatment regimen, and be available in clinic for mental health support of patients. While you will assist clinical and administrative staff in clinic, you will report directly to the partners of Germane & Wise. The particular position consists of newer contracts and will take time to build a caseload, so the employee who receives this job will prioritize patient direct care, and help with additional duties within the company existing in the mental health realm. Over time, direct care will constitute the majority of the position and other duties will be phased out accordingly.
