Our pharmaceutical client is seeking a Business Development Manager that will be creating and implementing strategic sales plans to grow their market presence and accomplish business goals, if you are someone that wants to be apart of a growing organization this role might be the one for you!
Responsibilities:
- Establish and nurture strong connections with important customers and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective sales strategies and initiatives.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the OSD Drug Product market.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, leveraging an active network.
- Develop and implement strategic business development plans to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and potential clients.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
- Provide regular reports on business development activities, sales performance, and market trends to senior management.
- Negotiate and close deals, ensuring favorable terms for the company.
- Work closely with the program management team from the RFP process through the project stages with the client.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business with life science experience, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in business development within the Drug Product CDMO (Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization) industry, with a preference for oral solid dosage forms.
- Strong network within the Western pharma/biopharmaceutical sector.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Willingness to travel up to 60% as needed to meet with clients
- An understanding of cGMP manufacturing requirements as well as regulatory and environmental issues relevant to the pharmaceutical industry.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, energetic personality, and accountability in accomplishing the objectives of the business.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate with all levels of our customer's organizations as well as internally at all levels.
Salary : $100,000 - $150,000
