Key Responsibilities
- Equipment Assessment: Assess and monitor equipment for reliability of operation, implementing necessary improvements to optimize performance.
- Critical Spare Management: Ensure that appropriate critical spares are in place where needed to minimize downtime.
- Production Loss Reduction: Track production losses and high maintenance cost assets, then identify ways to reduce losses and costs.
- Data Analysis: Identify potential problems or opportunities for improvement by analyzing data and identifying patterns within that data.
- Risk Management: Manage risk to achieve organization's strategic objectives in areas of environmental health and safety, asset capability, quality, and production.
- Total Cost of Ownership: Develop Total Cost of Ownership, Mean Time to Failure, Life Cycle Cost, and Mean Time to Repair.
- Process Improvement: Run process improvement projects from design through implementation.
- Change Execution: Execute changes through to completion, from initiation of change controls to revising SWIs, coordinating work with Maintenance/Engineering, etc., to close out of CCs.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments to ensure that reliability is integrated into all aspects of the organization.
- Qualification and Validation: Participate in and execute qualification and validation of equipment and processes.
