Working closely with department leaders, you will oversee recruitment, employee development, benefits administration, compliance, and internal communication processes. This role is ideal for someone who is empathetic, detail-oriented, flexible, and passionate about building a positive and inclusive workplace environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Develop, standardize, and implement processes across the entire employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and exit interviews.
- Build, manage, and maintain a robust pipeline of candidates for current and projected job openings.
- Evaluate and improve current Performance Management, Training, and Professional Development programs, relaunching best-in-class systems and initiatives. Candidates with 9-Box Experience are a Plus!
- Partner with leadership at all levels to define strategies and goals for employee development, training, and talent management.
- Lead and deliver internal training programs, including management training, compliance-based training, and general workforce training.
- Serve as a day-to-day resource for employees, providing guidance on company policies, benefits, and workplace culture.
- Maintain accurate personnel records, ensuring compliance with all employment regulations.
- Monitor and analyze HR metrics (e.g., turnover rates, leave tracking) to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Create and execute ad-hoc HR projects to support company goals and culture-building efforts.
- Handle all HR processes and data with a high level of confidentiality and discretion.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Energetic, mature, empathetic, and positive with a self-driven approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate across all levels of the organization.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess situations and achieve positive outcomes.
- Familiarity with social media recruiting and innovative sourcing techniques.
- Proven knowledge of professional communications, strategic reasoning, teamwork, change management, and business ethics.
Education and Experience:
- 5 years of experience successfully managing core HR functions, including recruiting, training, and compliance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Multi-State Payroll experience a Plus!
- SHRM-SCP a Plus!
Supervisory Responsibilities: 2 Direct Reports (HR Generalist and HR Associate)
