Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled B2B eCommerce Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will manage and update the newly launched Gerreshiemer web shop, overseeing the end-to-end order process, and ensuring a smooth experience for our customers along the way. You will work closely with the North America sales, marketing, and business development teams to develop content, and identify key new opportunities generated by the web shop so that those leads can be shared with the sales team.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and update the website product catalog, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Oversee the order fulfillment process, coordinating with logistics and warehouse teams to make sure all orders are fulfilled in a timely manner.
- Ensure a smooth post-purchase experience for customers,addressing any customer reqeusts for support promptly.
- Own the data and reporting for customer follow-up in the global CRM, ensuring all activities and engagements are successfully tracked and noted.
- Collaborate with the North America sales organization to qualify leads generated by the web shop and ensure the successful hand-off to sales once qualified.
- Monitor website performance and user experience, making recommendations for improvements.
- Analyze sales data and customer feedback to inform eCommerce strategies.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in eCommerce.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in eCommerce, preferably in a B2B environment.
- Strong understanding of website management and the order fulfillment processes.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Existing proficiency in eCommerce platforms such as Shopware, Big Commerce, or Shopify is a plus.
- Past experience with enterprise CRM solutions like Microsoft Dynamics or Salesfoce.com preferred.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and customer feedback to surface trends and action items.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
