Job Description
Systematic problem solving and optimization of all automation tasks, development and collaboration on smart automation projects in assembly.
- All tasks of the function must always be interpreted in the context of cooperation with superiors, production departments and the respective responsible departments in the company.
- Analyzing the main causes of process rejects, machine downtimes and product defects
- Derivation of specific measures and projects for the causes of process rejects, machine downtimes and product defects
- Measures to achieve and stabilize the target KPIs (OEE, CNQ)
- Independent implementation of specific measures and projects to optimize the processes used in ongoing production. This is done in terms of production and automation technology from a qualitative and economic point of view
- Planning, initiating and monitoring automation projects.
- Testing, proposing and implementing new production processes and systems, taking into account operational requirements as well as qualitative and economic aspects
- Carrying out change control procedures for technical or product-related change
- Creating technical documentation (technical instructions, maintenance plans, operating instructions)
- Technical contact person for customers and various suppliers. • Internal technical contact (e.g. for managers, customer service)
- Participation in discussions with project teams on topics such as GMS, SCRAP initiatives, etc.
- Software-side source code review
- Knowledge of various programming languages and their application (C, C , HTML, flow language)
Qualifications
- Knowledge acquired in the course of at least 3 years of technical (technical) university studies (e.g. automation technology, medical technology or similar) and extended by at least 5 years of experience in a function in the field of process optimization/mechanical engineering/project manager in manufacturing companies, preferably in the glass industry, pharmaceuticals or other GMP environment.
- 2-3 years' experience in control technology, understanding of reading and writing source code
- 3-4 years' experience in the analysis and optimization of manufacturing processes
- 3-4 years' experience using IT applications
- 4 years of communicating with all levels of management
- 3 years' experience writing technical reports
- 3 years' experience in project management
- 3 years' experience problem solving
- 2 years' experience presenting to large groups
- Must be fluent in English
- Six Sigma certified
