Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Global IT Networking Engineer to manage and maintain our organization’s network infrastructure. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, monitoring, and troubleshooting our network to ensure it is secure, reliable, and efficient. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network architecture, security, and support, as well as the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

The position must sit in Peachtree City, GA OR Vineland, NJ with an onsite schedule

Key Responsibilities

Network Design and Implementation:

• Plan, design, and implement network systems, including LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.
• Configure and optimize network hardware such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Installation and configuration of new network components such as switches, access points, firewalls, SD-WAN appliance and central IT management solutions in our centralized and decentralized network environment
• Responsible for the planning, operation and further development of the centralized and decentralized network infrastructure
• Administration of the dynamic routing (BGP) and VPN (IPSEC/SSL) environment
  
  

Network Maintenance And Monitoring

• Conduct regular network performance assessments to ensure efficiency and security.
• Troubleshoot network issues and resolve them promptly.
• Monitor network performance, security threats, and utilization.
  
  

Security Management

• Implement and maintain network security protocols to protect data and systems.
• Manage firewall, VPN, and other network security measures.
• Stay updated on the latest security threats and ensure compliance with best practices.
  
  

Documentation And Reporting

• Ensuring network operation through regular maintenance and updates of all systems and their documentation
• Document network configurations, processes, and policies.
• Prepare reports on network performance, security status, and upgrade recommendations.
• Maintain accurate inventory of all network hardware and software.
  
  

Support And Collaboration

• Provide support for end users and resolve network-related issues.
• Collaborate with other IT teams on systems integration and overall IT strategy.
• Assist in training staff on network use and security protocols.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field with 3 years' experience OR 5 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
• 5 years of experience in network administration or a similar role.
• Proficiency in network hardware and software.
• Strong knowledge of network security protocols, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
