Position Summary
As a Branch Operations Manager, you will oversee the branch's daily loan operations, ensuring that all processes run smoothly and efficiently. You will report directly to the Branch Manager. You will manage operational non-sales staff, coordinate with other departments, and ensure the branch closes loans on time.
Essential Branch Operations Manager Functions
Operational Management: Oversee and ensure smooth branch operations by acting as the primary contact of the loan manufacturing process with a hands-on approach. Leader, mentor, and develop branch staff, focusing on process improvement, customer service, and professional growth. You will be actively involved in every file, completing various loan administration tasks, training others, and continuously streamlining branch procedures.
Customer Service: You will maintain high customer service standards, promptly addressing and resolving issues. You will serve as an ongoing point of contact for the in-house processing function, helping collect information and complete any necessary documents throughout the loan process. Your expertise in collaborating seamlessly with the loan officer by executing a standard process customized for each borrower is a key function of the role. You will also regularly update the loan officer, processor, and operational colleagues at predesignated routine intervals.
Process Improvement: You will identify and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity as a hands-on manager working alongside all operational and sales staff to achieve branch objectives. Your expertise in the loan process and ability to solve inquiries and teach others are critical functions of your role.

Experience
Active NMLS# required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in mortgage operations or a similar role is required.
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field is a plus.
Strong knowledge of mortgage lending processes and regulatory requirements.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and mortgage industry software (Encompass is ideal).
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
