Job Description:
As a Loan Officer, you will be responsible for increasing your mortgage loan portfolio by developing business relationships and attracting new customers. This includes originating and negotiating mortgage loans, as well as advising and counseling clients on available loan options.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop referral sources for purchase and refinance mortgages from realtors, builders, professional, and personal contacts
- Proactively seek ways to develop and expand referral network relationships to achieve sales goals
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in residential mortgage sales (preferred but not required)
- ~2 years of retail, residential mortgage sales experience
- ~Documented success with residential purchase/refinance mortgage loans (preferred)
- ~Established relationships with local referral networks
Work Environment:
This role operates in a professional office environment and requires routine use of standard equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. The work is generally performed in a typical office setting with no or very limited exposure to physical risk.
