Role Summary:
Under the direction of the AVP of Infrastructure and Operation, the Infrastructure Manager oversee and manage Gesa’s IT Infrastructure. This This role encompasses the management of the network, data center, servers, backups, storage, and telecommunications. The Infrastructure Manager will be responsible for design, strategy, availability, security, and scalability of our IT infrastructure, supporting business operations and growth.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Oversee the design, implementation, and support of Gesa’s datacenter and cloud based IT infrastructure
- Ensure high availability, reliability, performance, and security across all infrastructure
- Monitor and respond to incidents and problems using diagnostic/monitoring tools. Accountable for Identifying cause, recommend solutions, and coordinate and report status of repair/resolution
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers for IT infrastructure and services
- Oversee server operating system configurations, upgrades, and patches
- Implement and oversee disaster recovery and business continuity plans
- Ensure backup systems, recovery strategies, and risk management plans are in place, tested, and operational
- Oversee the management of storage solutions, including SAN, NAS, and cloud storage
- Oversee the organization's telecommunications systems
- Ensure reliable and secure communication channels
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
- Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, providing guidance and support
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment
- Provide technical and interpersonal leadership, promoting accountability, innovation and teamwork within the Corporate IT infrastructure team to deliver results
- Conduct performance reviews and identify professional development opportunities
- Plan and execute infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget
- Coordinate with other departments to align IT infrastructure projects with business goals
- Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends, driving innovation to improve IT systems and operations
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize spending
- Implement and maintain security measures to protect the organization's IT assets
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Partner with the Information Security team to conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments
- Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and associated training plans for infrastructure
About You:
- Proven leadership and decision-making capabilities
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, CCNP) are highly desirable
- Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment and make sound decisions in emergency situations
What You Will Need:
- Four (4) year degree in the field of Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field required; work experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree
- Minimum of five (5) to seven (7) years experience in IT infrastructure management or a similar role
- Strong technical knowledge of network, server, storage, backup, and telecom systems
- Experience with data center management and cloud technologies

Salary Range:
Richland, WA: $123,157.85 - $184,736.77
Spokane, WA: $112,223.27 - $168,334.91
Tukwila, WA: $139,271.96 - $208,907.94
Lynnwood, WA: $132,365.91 - $198,548.87
