GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION |
This role involves collecting, auditing, and managing documentation for programs like the Going Pro Talent Fund (GPTF) and other Michigan Works initiatives. Responsibilities include data entry, reporting, and maintaining accurate records using systems like OSMIS and Salesforce, as well as tracking and reporting on customer and employer activities to ensure compliance with funding requirements. The position also includes marketing, eligibility determination, and maintaining communication with partner employers to support program delivery. |
QUALIFICATIONS |
Required: High school diploma or GED and 1-2 years post high school technical training or college coursework required. Bachelor’s or Associates degree in Business Administration or related field strongly preferred. Other: Certified Career Development Facilitator and/or BSP Certified preferred. Ability to respond effectively to multiple requests and changing project flow. Interpersonal skills sufficient to communicate with participants, employers, public and staff. Composition and computer skills sufficient to complete reports, letters and data input tasks. Basic accounting or bookkeeping experience. Intermediate to advanced level of proficiency using MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint, databases both pc and web based. |
