What are the responsibilities and job description for the Press Operator Heidelberg 2nd Shift position at Gest-Can RLX (2000) INC?
An Offset Press Operator is in charge of preparing, adjusting, and running a Heidelberg XL-106 W/UV printing press and performing regular maintenance on the equipment. He/she is key to delivering high-quality printing and meeting our customers’ expectations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare and adjust the press and all peripherical equipment
- Run the press and deliver a product that meets the client's needs and company expectations
- Perform quality controls while running and make necessary adjustments to the machine
- Perform maintenance and minor mechanical adjustments or repairs on the equipment following an established preventive maintenance schedule
- Ensure that all raw materials are available before starting production
- Work in very close collaboration with the Assistant Press Operator
- Participate in any other related task
