Gestalt Community Schools is a system of K-12 college-preparatory charter schools in targeted Tennessee communities. Position Overview:
The Human Resources Clerk is an entry-level position. The position is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources Department. The selected candidate will provide administrative support to the human resources function in fingerprinting, processing paperwork, employee relations, and assisting with recruitment and onboarding. This candidate must be able to effectively engage with both the public and network employees.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to the HR department
Assist with new hire employee background investigations
Assist in onboarding new employees
Assist with HR projects and initiatives
Provide rapid, courteous, and professional customer service to customers and/or staff members
Comply with all HR-related laws and regulations, and maintain confidential employee information
Other special projects and clerical duties as assigned
Qualifications:
1-2 years of experience in human resources (preferred)
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Proficient with IDENTIGO and/or Automated Tracking System (preferred)
Bilingual (preferred)
Requirements
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Maintain a high standard of confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Demonstrate strong motivation to carry out projects
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
