Customer Liaison 3rd shift- Tuscaloosa
- Support customer with quality and delivery related issues.
- Coordinate containment activities at customer locations.
- Collect pictures and/or samples of suspect or non conforming product.
- Perform Leak test investigation using hand held tester.
- Interact successfully with Gestamp McCalla Quality Engineers.
- Interact successfully with customer engineering and SQE representatives.
- Participate in 3 path, 5why root cause analysis and corrective actions with a cross functional team in order to reduce / eliminate internal and customer PPM’s.
- Adhere to Quality, Safety, and Environmental Policies.
- Understand and follow all required GPS standards.
- Any task deemed necessary by Management.
- Minimum 5 years Quality Engineering or Customer Quality Liaison experience.
- ASQ Certified Quality Technician is preferred.
- Experience with e-coating process preferred.
- High proficiency in understanding math data, interpretation and part measurement.
- Working knowledge of GD&T
- Knowledge of plant manufacturing processes.
- Strong computer skills and knowledge of MS Office Suite.
- Effective communication skills.
- This job requires travel that may be for extended periods.
- May be required to work extended hours on occasion.
