We are looking for a highly qualified Systems Technician to join our on-site team located in Orlando, Fl. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in Storage Area Networks (SANs) and RAID configurations, with proficiency in managing Dell and HP SAN systems. The position requires expertise to ensure high availability and implement disaster recovery solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the installation and storage of server hardware from Supermicro, Dell PowerEdge and HP, along with JBODS, switches, and associated power and network cabling, ensuring a smooth and efficient infrastructure setup.
- Operating system deployments, network configurations, via command-line interface (CLI), and RAID controller configuration on Supermicro, Dell PowerEdge, and HP servers to optimize performance and reliability.
- Construction of server cabinets, installing rails, servers and power distribution units.
- Preventative maintenance, as well as network and hardware troubleshooting as they occur, ensuring trouble-free operation and minimal interruptions to system performance.
Ratings:
- Proven experience as a SAN Administrator.
- Mastery of RAID and SAN technologies.
- Possess your green card (Required)
- Hands-on experience with Dell and HP SAN systems.
- Strong knowledge of the principles of high availability and disaster recovery.
- Experience with NetApp storage solutions.
- Familiarity with CommVault for backup and recovery.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
