Key Responsibilities
- Spearhead the establishment of a robust quality assurance framework for the technical assistance provided to grantees and all contract deliverables related to Early Childhood Specialists.
- Offer continuous coaching and guidance to Early Childhood Specialists, ensuring optimal support for grantees in critical areas such as curriculum execution, teacher-child interactions, family involvement, and child developmental outcomes.
- Design and implement professional development initiatives to bolster Early Childhood Specialists’ capabilities in coaching, assessment, and data interpretation.
- Manage the processes of data collection, analysis, and reporting for technical assistance to ensure service quality enhancement in alignment with both regional and national priorities.
- Conduct field evaluations of Early Childhood Specialists to gauge service quality and identify areas for professional growth.
- Collaborate effectively with Regional Office personnel to provide cohesive technical assistance to grantees.
- Engage in national and regional committees and meetings to support the operational objectives of the Office of Head Start.
- Deliver direct technical assistance to grantees as needed and requested by the Regional Office.
- Facilitate the execution of new initiatives and priorities set forth by the Office of Head Start.
- Execute additional duties as assigned to contribute to the overall goals of the organization.
- A Bachelor's or advanced degree in early childhood education, development, educational leadership, or a related discipline.
- At least 7 years of relevant professional experience, including a minimum of 3 years dedicated to providing technical assistance to Head Start or early childhood programs, with a focus on school readiness.
- A progressive supervisory or management background spanning 3 to 5 years, with a preference for experience managing remote teams.
- Proven track record in coaching staff, developing quality assurance protocols, and conducting data analysis.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively.
- A Bachelor's or advanced degree in early childhood education, development, educational leadership, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 7 years' experience in a relevant capacity, including at least 3 years of direct technical assistance experience within Head Start or early childhood contexts.
- Experience in staff coaching and quality assurance development is essential.
