Key Responsibilities
- Spearhead the establishment of a comprehensive quality assurance framework for the technical assistance provided to grantees and oversee contract deliverables related to Early Childhood Specialists.
- Deliver ongoing coaching and support to Early Childhood Specialists, ensuring optimal assistance for grantees in areas such as curriculum implementation, family engagement, and child outcomes.
- Design and implement professional development initiatives to bolster Early Childhood Specialists’ capabilities in critical performance areas, including coaching and data analysis.
- Manage data aggregation, analysis, and reporting processes for technical assistance to ensure service quality aligns with both regional and national objectives.
- Conduct field assessments of Early Childhood Specialists to evaluate service quality and identify areas for professional growth.
- Collaborate with Regional Office personnel to ensure effective and coordinated technical assistance for grantees.
- Engage in national and regional workgroups, contributing to the objectives of the Office of Head Start.
- Provide direct technical assistance to grantees as requested by the Regional Office.
- Assist in the execution of new initiatives and priorities from the Office of Head Start.
- Undertake additional duties as necessary to support the organization’s goals.
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in early childhood education, development, educational leadership, or a related discipline.
- At least 7 years of relevant experience, including a minimum of 3 years in providing technical assistance to Head Start or early childhood programs, with an emphasis on school readiness.
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of progressive supervisory or management experience, preferably with remote staff oversight.
- Demonstrated expertise in coaching, quality assurance system development, and data analysis.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively.
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in early childhood education, development, educational leadership, or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in early childhood education, including at least 3 years focused on Head Start or comparable programs.
- Experienced in supervisory or management roles is preferred.
