Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive technology audits at client facilities to identify best-in-class solutions.
- Develop, design, and deliver impactful training sessions tailored to client needs, fostering practical knowledge that drives operational enhancements.
- Analyze market trends within Michigan’s manufacturing sector, identifying technology gaps and industry drivers to inform strategic decisions.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to enhance the adoption of innovative technologies among clients.
- Lead projects by providing coaching and training at both the executive and shop-floor levels, ensuring effective operational optimization.
- Assess manufacturing processes, analyzing areas for improvement and proposing actionable solutions to elevate performance.
- Minimum of a decade of experience in quality management roles within the manufacturing sector.
- Proficient understanding of core quality management tools and methodologies, including APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and SPC.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of building effective client relationships.
- Experience in managing service delivery projects, including the development of tailored workshops and training sessions.
- Technical proficiency in software tools such as Visio, 3D CAD/CAM, ERP systems, and the Microsoft Suite.
- Enthusiastic about Industry 4.0 concepts and committed to continuous learning and development in the manufacturing domain.
- Lead Assessor certification in any Quality Management System (QMS) is required; Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt is preferred.
- A relevant degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.
