Key Responsibilities
- Remain informed about industry trends, innovations, and best practices in manufacturing.
- Identify operational gaps and opportunities for improvement within Michigan’s manufacturing sector.
- Design and facilitate engaging training sessions that cater to the unique requirements of clients.
- Provide both executive coaching and hands-on facilitation to enhance manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate in the development of new service offerings to address emerging market needs.
- Contribute to business development initiatives through impactful presentations and relationship-building.
- Conduct thorough operations assessments to deliver actionable solutions for boosting production efficiency.
- Work alongside clients and internal teams to implement the latest manufacturing technologies and practices.
- Extensive experience with a variety of manufacturing technologies, including IoT, Advanced Sensors, Cloud computing, and Robotics.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to forge partnerships and collaborate effectively.
- Demonstrated experience in creating and leading targeted workshops and training programs.
- Capability to work autonomously while managing multiple projects and service deliverables.
- Proficient in design software for conducting plant floor layouts and simulations.
- Background in consulting with expertise in continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
- Understanding of financial principles, including P&L statements, applied in a manufacturing context.
- Proficient in software applications such as Microsoft Suite, Visio, ERP systems, and cloud tools.
- Familiarity with project management tools like Smartsheets.
- Proven experience in consulting within the manufacturing domain.
- Background in developing and executing training and workshop sessions.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement frameworks such as TPM, Lean, and Six Sigma is preferred.
