You will be instrumental in imparting critical knowledge and optimizing manufacturing methodologies, specifically in the realms of Smart Manufacturing, Industry 4.0, and Quality principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Stay at the forefront of industry developments and pinpoint technology deficiencies within Michigan manufacturers.
- Remain informed about the latest advancements in your specialized areas.
- Create and facilitate compelling training sessions customized to our clients’ requirements.
- Identify and pursue market opportunities to stimulate business expansion.
- Lead projects while providing coaching and facilitation at various organizational levels.
- Support sales initiatives by devising innovative presentations and strategies to cultivate new business relationships.
- Evaluate client operations and deliver practical, actionable recommendations to enhance performance.
- Employ strategic business concepts, such as lean manufacturing and quality management, to guide manufacturers toward operational excellence.
- Extensive knowledge in key quality management tools, including APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and problem-solving methodologies such as 8D and A3.
- Familiarity with ISO quality management systems and certification requirements.
- Strong interpersonal skills, capable of fostering partnerships.
- Proven track record in developing and leading training workshops.
- Exceptional project management capabilities and experience formulating new service offerings.
- Proficiency in software tools, including Visio, 3D CAD/CAM, and ERP systems.
- Competence in computer applications, especially Microsoft Suite and cloud-based solutions.
- Certification from ASME or GD&T is advantageous.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in quality management roles within the manufacturing sector.
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple service delivery projects.
- Experience with Industry 4.0 is highly desirable.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
