Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Assistant Teacher to become an integral part of our team at the Keystone Star IV Woodland Academy Child Development Center. This remote position allows you to collaborate closely with the Lead Teacher, fostering a nurturing and stimulating atmosphere for children. You will play a crucial role in facilitating activities that enhance the physical, emotional, social, and cognitive growth of young learners.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Lead Teacher to cultivate a supportive and positive educational environment for children.
• Assist in designing and executing age-appropriate activities that encourage developmental milestones.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children entrusted to your care.
• Monitor and evaluate children’s progress, providing constructive feedback to parents and faculty.
• Work in partnership with fellow educators and staff to maintain a cooperative and team-oriented atmosphere.
• Uphold an organized and tidy classroom environment.
• Serve as a role model, exemplifying patience, kindness, and enthusiasm in all interactions.

Qualifications

• A Child Development Associate (CDA) certificate is mandatory.
• A High School Diploma (HSD) or General Education Development (GED) certificate is required.
• A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a developmental or educational setting with children is essential.
