Key Responsibilities
- Instruct students on the clinic floor as well as in the classroom utilizing a state-approved curriculum that promotes learning, creativity, and professional growth.
- Prepare students for the State Board examination by ensuring adherence to all necessary standards and regulations.
- Mentor and motivate students to achieve success in their academic and practical studies.
- Oversee administrative tasks including participation in faculty meetings, accurately tracking student grades and attendance, and offering academic support and counseling.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to foster positive relationships with students and colleagues.
- Basic computer skills necessary for managing grades, attendance, and other related administrative tasks.
- Flexibility to work both day and evening shifts, with some potential for remote work.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Current Barber license in accordance with state regulations.
- Valid Instructor license.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of professional barbering experience.
- Previous teaching experience is preferred, but not essential.
