Job Overview

We are seeking dedicated and passionate Virtual Earth Science Educators to join our innovative team of virtual instructors. This remote position offers the flexibility to select from various teaching opportunities that align with your certifications, as they become available through our school and district partnerships. As a 1099 Independent Contractor, you will adhere to the school district’s calendar and can start immediately based on placement opportunities, subject to successful completion of the application process and training.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize our educator portal to choose assignments that correspond with your certification and availability.
• Engage students in the virtual classroom, fostering creativity and a passion for learning.
• Develop and implement strategies that promote both academic growth and positive student relationships.
• Design comprehensive lesson plans aligned with the curriculum, ensuring effective learning pathways for students.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing necessary guidance and support.

Qualifications

• Authorization to work in the United States.
• A valid New York State professional teaching license in Earth Science.
• A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Access to a computer equipped with a webcam, headset, and reliable internet connection.
• Successful completion of a Virtual Skills Teaching Demonstration and background check as part of the application process.
