Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and facilitate a range of deployment and mobilization support services tailored for military families.
- Conduct informative pre- and post-deployment briefings and workshops for commands, sailors, and their families throughout all phases of deployment.
- Collaborate with school personnel, teachers, and guidance counselors to address the distinct needs of military children.
- Provide training and workshops to Command Family Readiness Groups and deliver Pre- and Post-Deployment SAPR training as necessary.
- Implement standardized family case management support in line with military guidelines.
- Organize and provide Ombudsmen Basic and Advanced Training courses to meet local training requirements.
- Assist military and family members with inbound and outbound relocation programs, including briefings and personalized support.
- Conduct life skills workshops covering diverse topics such as stress management, communication skills, and parenting.
- Facilitate Transition Assistance Program (TAP) workshops, collaborating with organizations like the Department of Labor and the Small Business Administration.
- Provide family employment readiness workshops, focusing on job searching, interviewing, and resume writing tactics.
- Foster relationships with local agencies, including Military Treatment Facilities (MTF), School Liaison Officers, and school districts to ensure cohesive services for military families.
- Exceptional oral and written communication capabilities.
- Proficiency in data management and program evaluation implementation.
- Competence in preparing and delivering management briefings with clear communication of recommendations.
- Technical proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and presentation technologies.
- Detail-oriented and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently.
- Empathy and a nuanced understanding of military family dynamics and challenges.
- A bachelor's degree in adult education, social sciences, or a related behavioral science discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience totaling four years.
- Minimum of two years of experience in training development, public speaking, and group facilitation. Prior experience with family programs, military or civilian social service agencies, or as a military family member is highly advantageous.

Compensation And Benefits
- Pay Range: \(25/hour to \)37/hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
