Compensation And Benefits
Hourly wage range: \(31.06 - \)33.76, commensurate with education, experience, and competencies. This is a part-time position that offers flexibility in scheduling and accrues sick leave in accordance with the Healthy Families and Workplaces Act.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to the specific needs of ESL learners.
- Collaborate with the Student Retention & Basic Skills Specialist to ensure the comprehensive support of student requirements.
- Maintain precise documentation of student progress, including assessments, subject improvements, and attendance.
- Offer timely and constructive feedback on assignments.
- Address student inquiries and questions via email or phone communication.
- Create course outlines and syllabi in alignment with program objectives.
- Assist students in identifying opportunities that correspond with their interests and career aspirations.
- Cultivate an inclusive and respectful learning environment that prioritizes diversity and equity.
- Strong communication abilities with culturally diverse and at-risk populations.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Zoom, and Learning Management Systems.
- Demonstrated experience in teaching English Language Learners (ELLs).
- Willingness to undergo training for additional teaching roles within the GED/ESL program.
- An associate's degree in adult education or a related discipline.
- At least two (2) years of experience in teaching English Language Learners (ELLs).
