Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Lead Instructor in delivering IT instruction through various modalities including in-person, online, and hybrid formats.
- Utilize diverse communication tools (phone, chat, email, text, video, or in-person) to coach and mentor students on their academic and certification journeys.
- Monitor and ensure students maintain performance and attendance standards necessary for successful course completion and certification.
- Provide support for certification processes including tutoring, distributing exam preparation materials, and following up on outcomes.
- Respond promptly and accurately to student inquiries and concerns, ensuring thorough documentation of all interactions.
- Manage tutoring rooms, whether online or campus-based, to guarantee ongoing support for all students.
- Collaborate closely with the Lead Instructor to design and deliver engaging lessons that meet course objectives.
- Integrate relevant technology into instruction and assist students in troubleshooting any learning material or equipment issues.
- Contribute constructive feedback for curriculum development and engage in initiatives for program enhancement.
- Maintain a supportive and disciplined learning environment in accordance with institutional policies.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and effective communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Energetic, self-driven, and skilled in addressing student concerns with empathy and professionalism.
- Proficiency in learning management systems, particularly Canvas.
- Flexibility to work evening hours as required.
- Bachelor's degree in IT or a related discipline, or equivalent education and experience.
- Minimum of six months of practical experience within the IT industry.
- Previous involvement in managing student attendance, course completion, and certifications is advantageous.
- Familiarity with troubleshooting learning management systems such as Canvas is preferred.
