Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver dynamic history lessons tailored for both in-person and remote learning environments.
- Provide engaging, curriculum-aligned instruction during on-campus sessions twice a week.
- Create structured at-home assignments and instructional materials to facilitate student learning during remote days.
- Offer virtual instructional support, including regular check-ins and resources, to ensure continuous academic progress during home-based learning days.
- Maintain open and consistent communication with parents, offering guidance, resources, and feedback to assist their child’s learning at home.
- Conduct virtual or in-person meetings with parents as necessary to discuss student progress, challenges, and achievements.
- Develop lesson plans that effectively integrate both in-person and remote learning experiences.
- Evaluate student work across both learning settings, providing timely and constructive feedback.
- Establish and maintain an engaging, Christ-centered learning environment in both physical and virtual classrooms.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to share best practices, strategies, and resources that enhance the hybrid learning experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Education (minimum requirement).
- ACSI Certification (or willingness to obtain).
- 2-3 years of teaching experience, preferably within a hybrid, online, or blended learning environment.
- Experience in Christian education is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with hybrid or remote learning technologies and instructional platforms.
- Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.).
- Ability to create and manage digital resources for online learning platforms (e.g., Google Classroom, Renweb).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a high degree of emotional intelligence.
- Highly motivated, adaptable, and committed to student success.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, multi-tasking environment while maintaining attention to detail.
