Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care by assisting individuals with a variety of therapeutic activities, including exercises, daily living skills, and mobility training.
- Partner with Occupational Therapists to develop and implement tailored treatment plans for patients.
- Monitor and document patient progress, sharing observations with the Occupational Therapist.
- Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for all patients.
- Foster a collaborative and positive atmosphere with all members of the healthcare team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Exceptional organizational skills.
- Proven capacity to work effectively within a team setting.
- Associate’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
- A valid Occupational Therapy Assistant license in Oklahoma.
- Current BLS certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment).
- A minimum of two years of experience as an Occupational Therapy Assistant is preferred.
