- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create, evaluate, and execute IEPs.
- Monitor student progress and adapt strategies as necessary to foster academic achievement and behavioral growth.
- Maintain compliance with special education laws, regulations, and district policies.
- Advocate for students with special needs and implement positive behavior support.
- Keep accurate and timely records, including IEP documentation and progress reports.
- Comprehensive knowledge of IEP processes, special education laws, and strategies for positive behavior support.
- Exceptional communication and organizational abilities, allowing for effective collaboration with students, families, and educational teams.
- Valid New York Special Education Teaching Credentials.
- Proven experience in working with students with special needs in an educational context is preferred.
